From farm work to a clear hisab
Record the work once, review the calculation and keep the money history understandable.
Add a shared expense
Choose Add expense, enter the amount and purpose, choose who paid and select the people sharing it. Check each share before saving. A ₹1,000 equal split between two people gives each a ₹500 share.
Understand what changes immediately
An expense changes the shared hisab when saved. The other person can reject an incorrect entry; the history records the change. Do not create a settlement to correct a mistaken expense.
Start the right type of work
Select the person, work type, rate and unit: hours, fera/trips, count or area as applicable. A farm can be added when relevant. Verify the rate and unit before starting.
Update work while it happens
For hours, pause when work pauses and resume when it restarts. For fera/count work, update the count as each unit is completed. Review the time or count and correct mistakes before finishing.
Complete work and check hisab
Complete work, review the final calculation and choose whether it has been paid. An unpaid amount goes into hisab. A paid selection records the payment route instead of leaving the full amount outstanding; registered-person payment confirmation rules still apply. Return Home and open the person to check the resulting balance.
Record payment accurately
For another registered user, I paid waits for the receiver to confirm and does not reduce the confirmed balance while pending. I received counts immediately and can be disputed. Rejecting a pending payment leaves the confirmed balance unchanged.
Keep a private record for a person without an account
Add a temporary person and keep their expenses and payments privately. No approval from an unregistered person is needed for your private record. An invitation opens a Messages draft; linking records later is a separate action.
Correct a mistake
Open the original entry or work record and use the available edit, correction or rejection action. Review the activity history after saving. Never record money as received unless it was actually received.
